Parenting Humor Blog & Book
I write a personal parenting blog called WhiteTrashMom. I have been featured on NPR, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Fox News and other national media.
WhiteTrashMom dishes out parenting advice in a tone that parents can relate to and it's considered a popular parenting blog by people who are not related to me.
The sassy, ironic tone of the blog and the book has opened up a world of opportunities and introduced me to some amazing people. The picture below has two of my favorite people I've met through blogging are Liz Gumbinner of Cool Mom Picks and Silicon Valley guru Guy Kawasaki.
The blog was adapted into a book by St. Martin's Press in 2008. From Silicon Valley to New York City, The White Trash Mom Handbook is a popular survival guide for parents of school age children.
I started writing WhiteTrashMom in 2005 to help other parents cope with some of the crazy expectations of modern parenting.
